Nivenber 13m 2018 - The 6th Annual Reliance Health Norwich WinterFest 5K is just around the corner with a new date! Join us on December 1st at 10:30 at the Norwich Free Academy as we kick off another year of wellness. We have Matthew’s Catering providing 4 varieties of soups for participants and volunteers, Veggie Characters are ready to roll, and several sponsors have stepped up to support this community wellness event.
The Norwich WinterFest 5K is focused on promoting wellness and community spirit, while raising funds to support Reliance Health’s mission of enhancing health through mental wellness. Each year nearly 500 people participate in the event, bringing their friends and family along to cheer them on. All fitness levels are encouraged to participate. The race encourages participation from groups walking in costumes, competitive runners, and families trying out a new challenge. The FitKids Fun Run encourages youth involvement by offering a FREE ¾ mile race for kids of all ages. While the kids get gloves and medals, adults receive long sleeved tech shirts, swag bags, and the possibility of a cash prize. We continue the fun after the race with the Norwich WinterFest parade to ring in the holiday season.

Or, if you’re looking to do more than one race, Hartford Marathon Foundation is offering the HO HO Holiday Series - Celebrate the season by running all three holiday-themed races and earn the commemorative series ornament.
